OUR STORY

Julia and Jake met in person at a barn get together on July 15th, 2017 in Poynette, WI. Jake was going into his Senior year  while Julia was going into her Junior year at Sun Prairie High School. 

Jake was drawn to Julia’s faith, sense of humor, and her big brown eyes. Some things Julia really liked about Jake was his big smile, sense of humor, and his optimism. After graduating HS, Jake joined the Air Force and was stationed at Luke Air Force base in Arizona. On August 20th 2019 they got engaged in Madison WI where they had their first date. On November 21st  2019 they were married in Gilbert AZ, at the Chapel At The Farm Wedding Venue, joined by some family. 

Jake and Julia got their first apartment together in Glendale AZ and a few months later they were also blessed with the most handsome golden retriever named Koda. Jake and Julia have had the opportunity to visit many places during their first few years of marriage to make fun memories such as going to Catalina Island, Disney Land, Las Vegas, Mississippi, and watching Jake graduate in Texas. In 2024 Jake received his Air Traffic Control Badge while Julia also finished Esthetician school. 

In the summer of 2024 they moved to their house in Goodyear AZ and are currently planning for their upcoming Wisconsin Wedding Celebration with their loved ones on October 18th 2024.
